Emily has been a yoga devotee for over 16 years. Discovering yoga in 2005 she began practicing twice a week and quickly fell in love with the mental and physical challenge of her practice. Soon she was practicing daily (even sneaking out of work to catch class). At that point she realized that yoga had become the most important thing in her life. She enrolled in a 9-week Yoga Teacher Training in 2006. She was trained by Bikram Choudhury and Mary Jarvis. After graduation she began teaching and sharing her passion with her students.
